The Inheritance Necklace

This one-of-one necklace brings together two things that already had lives before they ever became part of my work.

At the center is a genuine shark tooth, wire-wrapped by hand and paired with a deep blue vintage glass bead that once belonged to one of my grandmother’s necklaces.

Rather than leaving her jewelry tucked away in a box, I’ve started finding ways to give pieces of it a new life—taking something she once wore and incorporating it into something entirely new.

I love the contrast in this piece: something wild and weathered from the ocean paired with something delicate that carries a piece of my own family history.

Two relics. Two stories. One completely one-of-one necklace.
