Mercy-Made Pieces

The Shell Work Collection is a celebration of giving forgotten things a second life.

Each piece begins with a thrifted or vintage frame, canvas, or shadowbox that I find and reimagine by hand. Rather than allowing these pieces to be forgotten, I rejuvenate them—transforming them into one-of-one works of coastal art using seashells that I have personally found and collected.

Every shell has its own natural shape, texture, color, and imperfections, and every vintage frame carries a history of its own. I bring the two together intuitively, allowing the materials to guide each design rather than trying to recreate the same piece twice.

The result is something that can never truly be duplicated: one-of-one handmade shell art that gives new life to something old while preserving a little piece of the coast.
