Sometimes the shell is already the artwork.
This one-of-one statement necklace features a large, natural abalone shell with incredible flashes of pearl, pink, green, silver, and violet that shift as the light moves across its surface.
Rather than competing with what the ocean already created, I kept the design intentionally simple—suspending the shell from a soft black cord so its natural shape, imperfections, texture, and iridescence remain the entire focus.
Bold, organic, and a little untamed, The Mother of Tides is for the person who doesn’t just want something inspired by the ocean. They want to wear a piece of it.
No two abalone shells have the same markings or color, making this piece completely one of one.
