Join Florida artist and jewelry designer Hayleigh Hansen of Mood & Mercy for a hands-on, ocean-inspired jewelry workshop at Juno Beach Pier.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of wire wrapping while creating your own one-of-a-kind shark tooth jewelry. Every participant will leave with a completed shark tooth necklace and a coordinating pair of earrings made with high-quality jewelry materials.

No previous jewelry-making experience is needed. Hayleigh will guide you through the entire process, step by step.

What You’ll Create

Each participant will make and take home:

• One finished shark tooth necklace
• One finished pair of shark tooth earrings

You’ll choose from a variety of shark teeth, gemstones, beads, and jewelry materials, so every finished set will be completely unique.

What You’ll Learn

During the workshop, Hayleigh will guide you through:

• Selecting your shark teeth and jewelry components
• Basic wire-wrapping techniques
• Working with jewelry wire and findings
• Creating secure wire-wrapped designs
• Combining shark teeth with gemstones and beads
• Building a finished necklace
• Creating a coordinating pair of earrings
• Properly attaching chains, clasps, and earring hooks

Hayleigh will also share information about sharks, shark teeth, and the importance of protecting Florida’s coastal ecosystems.

Everything Is Included

Your $60 registration includes:

• Shark teeth
• Gold-filled or sterling silver-plated materials
• Jewelry wire
• Necklace chains
• Clasps and other findings
• Earring hooks
• A variety of gemstones and beads
• Jewelry-making tools to use during the workshop
• All materials needed to complete one necklace and one pair of earrings
• Lunch, including Publix subs

You do not need to bring jewelry-making tools or materials.

What to Bring

This is more than a jewelry-making workshop—it’s a beach day! Come prepared to get comfortable, create, and enjoy Juno Beach.

Please bring:

• Water or another drink
• A beach towel, chair, or both
• Sunscreen
• Comfortable clothing appropriate for the beach
• Anything else you would normally bring for a beach day

Swimsuits and snorkels are absolutely welcome. You’re invited to swim, snorkel, explore the beach, or simply relax and enjoy the ocean.

The Experience

This workshop is an opportunity to slow down, create something with your hands, meet other creative people, learn about sharks and the ocean, and enjoy one of Florida’s beautiful coastlines.

Whether you’ve never picked up jewelry pliers before or already love making things, you’ll leave with new skills, handmade jewelry, and a memorable beach-day experience.

Cancellation & Weather Policy

If you need to cancel, email moodandmercy@gmail.com by 9:30 AM Eastern Time on September 23, 2026, for a full refund.

Cancellations received after that deadline and no-shows are nonrefundable. You may transfer your seat to another person at no additional charge; please email us their name before the workshop begins.

The workshop will take place under Juno Beach Pier and may proceed in light rain if conditions are safe. Thunderstorms, lightning, severe weather, or beach closures may require us to reschedule or cancel.

If Mood & Mercy cancels the workshop, you will receive a full refund. If we reschedule, you may choose to attend the new date or receive a full refund.
